“We’ve made choices to be defined not by who we are, but the things that we make,” youngest brother Zac told TODAY.
“When people think of ‘MMMBop,’ they don’t go like 'Oh, that guy was dating Kim Kardashian or I saw him on TMZ.' They think of the music. It’s by design.” While the trio has released six albums since 1997, they consciously took a break from music over the past few years and opted to raise their families in Oklahoma instead of Los Angeles or New York.
Hanson is celebrating their 25th anniversary by going on a worldwide tour called “Middle of Everywhere” — a play on their breakthrough album, "Middle of Nowhere" — and releasing a greatest-hits album by the same name. They’ve gone on to start their own record label, create a beer company and have 12 children between them.
And unlike the all-too-common tales of child stars, Zac, Taylor and Isaac are proud of their wholesome image.
“The idea that we would live somewhere that was nontraditional and build our business out of somewhere that is nontraditional, it’s sort of our tradition.” “Oklahoma is very entrepreneurial,” said 36-year-old Isaac. There is less of the showy LA scene.” Taylor added, “As a parent, half the job is not making them amazing; it’s not screwing them up.” Despite living a quiet life out of the limelight, their kids have still seen the famous '90s music videos.
They pretty much stayed up in the balcony but Isaac did come down to use the bathroom once. When Gregg Alexander, the lead singer, talked about the comments on putting the bands into the song, he said he only put the band names in because of admiration. I thought it was cool b/c many people, especially celebrities, won't admit that they like Hanson. and Tina was trying to teach the other members of the band how to speak "American" and she was going over a few things (like what we call elevators, etc.) and she came across the last pic and said "And this is Hanson, over here they call them talented" I thought that was stupid of her to say because SClub7 sure as heck aint talented!
(And yes, they have a beer named “MMMHops,” an admittedly brilliant name no matter how you feel about late-90s pop music.) As much as we love beer — and we love, When your cousins get to meet my boyfriend Zac Hanson and I'm not there!!!!

Taylor didn't let Natalie out of is site the entire time they were on the floor! They have started mixing the album, they were just taking a few days off for the 4th of july. " and she said "no" and Kurt Loder was like "why, what happened? And at the tender age of nineteen, Taylor Hanson became an honest man at the hands of recent high school grad Natalie Anne Bryant, in Georgia. Theres also a small pic (the same as the 1st black & white wedding pic that was posted on Hanson House w/ the caption "Sunrise, sunset: Taylor weds.") Yesterday I was watching .
They waited till the bands were all done playing before they came down and singed autographs and took pictures. so of course I asked him about the new album and here's what he said!!! 2003 haven't picked a day yet and the single in either November or December they hadn't decided. I was just watching MTV and it had something about the Ozfest and they showed Kelly Osbourne from way back in the day and they asked her "do u still like hanson? Maybe we ought to hook up with them and say hi sometime, haha, that's crazy. I thought it would be cool if the fans bought Ike a nice guitar for his birthday. It’s pretty easy to lump them in with the likes of Backstreet Boys, ‘N Sync and Five, but unlike those manufactured groups Hanson bucked the odds and have continued to make music and tour successfully for the last 21 years. I’ve always respected the natural juices and try to not overdo it. And with the major labels you’re caught in this big system of merging labels, labels buying each other.
