The Mad City Ultra races are held annually in the Spring in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
The course is a USATF-certified 10K loop, winding through the University of Wisconsin Arboretum, along the shore of Lake Wingra and through quiet streets.
Teams consist of any combination of 2 to 5 runners and will be scored based upon their combined age.
Mad City Vettes located in the Madison WI area consists of a group of Corvette Enthusiasts who have a common interest in participating in events around the Corvette.
Events include car shows, parades, charity functions, road cruises, road rallyes, caravans and many other fun events.
The annual 100 km World Championship race is the one international venue at which USA Track & Field (USATF) has fielded an ultra-distance team for over a decade.
The United States will be represented by the USATF 100 km Team of up to six men and up to six women ultramarathon runners.
Members’ Corvettes range from those driven daily to work and others that are show cars.

The Mad City 100K will be proud to welcome Bill Dodson to our 2015 race. Whether you're running the 100K, 50K or 50K relay, you'll have an opportunity to run alongside Bill and encourage him.
Bill will be attempting to set the age group 100K record at this USATF certified event. Qualifying Standards The USATF 100 km National Team will compete in the 2014 International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) 100 Km World Cup under the patronage of the IAAF in Daugavpils, Latvia on August 31, 2014.
American athletes who finish in the top 10 men or women at the 2013 IAU 100 Km World Championship will receive automatic team selection (up to 3 per gender).
(N/A for 2014 due to lack of 2013 World Championship) (qualification valid for the following calendar year World Championship only) The winner of the 2014 USA 100 Km National Championship (if contested) will receive automatic team selection.
